"Job burnout" by Demetriusz Wenglarczyk

From the "Monochromes" photography series.

The marvels of daily life are exciting; no movie director can arrange the unexpected that you find in the street.

Robert Doisneau

This quote sums up street photography perfectly. This is why I enjoy walking around the city with my camera, looking for interesting moments in the daily routine. I saw these work clothes on a truck that looked like they were resting. But where had the workers gone?

What works for me here

Despite being taken in 2019, the photo looks timeless. That's the magic of black and white photography, but there's more to it than that. There is a sad reflection in the fact that our lives are mainly about work. Not much has changed.
